Power grid of State Grid covers 88% of the country’s land and it provide services to over 1.1 billion people. Because the geographical environment of China varies greatly, power lines not only transport through cities, but also go through unmanned desert or mountains.
Customer Requirements and Challenges
In order to decrease engineering task, and simplify power lines maintenance, State Grid wants to deploy smart wire which can carry electricity and fiber signal together. Also, the new wire needs to bear long distance span, and easy to be laid.
